Card Paragraphs Story

It was a dark summer night in a city. A boy and a girl are out of the house when they are not supposed to be. Behind them is a shadow the size of a large monster. The city is quiet. The moon is shining down brightly down on them, exposing a shadow the size of a large monster. The boy is wearing blue pants and a blue shirt while the girl is wearing brown pants with a green shirt. Nobody else is out walking in the city except them.
Tim and Kate contemplated sneaking out of their house and walking around the city.Kate didn't think it was a good idea to go, but Tim was able to convince her.They sneak out the back window, without getting caught by their parents, and run out of sight. Once they catch their breath, the realize the city is dead silent. This was something they had never experienced before. The two of them tiptoed down the sidewalk as they didn't want to wake up any other families. There wasn't a single star in the sky. Although, it was a full moon that night. The moon was so full, it produced just enough light for Tim and Kate to be able to see the entire city. All of a sudden, the moonlight was interrupted by a large figure. Tim and Kate didn't know what it was, or where it was coming from. As they gazed upon the buildings of the city, they saw a shadow the size of a large monster, much bigger than the two of them combined. They turned around, and saw him. He said, "my name is Drago, you have entered my city past visiting hours for humans! Now I must eat you!" Tim and Kate tried to run away, but were captured by the monster and were never seen again.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time Reflection On November 15th, 2019, I saw Cheshire Academy’s Drama Club put on the production of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” by Simon Stephens in the Black Box Theater on campus. This production told told the story of a Boy named Christopher, who struggled with autism, and how he delt with family issues within his home, figuring out who he is as a person, and being held as a suspect for the murder of one of his neighbor’s dog. He has to struggle and go through many obstacles in order to find himself. But he persevered, got through the tough times, and by the end of the play he had a good idea of who he was as a person. To modernize this story, I would bring the technology of that time up to date, make the characters and quotes more relatable to people from our time, and I would add more emotion and effects as well. One way I would do this would to be to set this story in a high school. For example, a friend tells someone to tell someone a rumor they heard, it gets all over social media, all just to find out the horrible rumor was not true.
